Soooooooo a very competent wine home be were in work said he's got a keg of wilkos cerveza that he thinks is spoilt and it was going to got down the drain..persuaded him to bring it into work before it met it's maker..

It's very cloudy, lots of white clumps in it and there's no "off " smells or taste, but it does feel very weak in the mouth. I was thinking about racking it into a bucket via a syphon with a filterrible then adding some sugar and then bottling. Am I fighting a losing battle or do you think it can be revived?

Thanks all

If it's cloudy and watery I'd say it's probably still green

Test the gravity, providing it's fairly low then dry hop it for four days or so with Mosaic or similar then prime and bottle it.

If it's a fairly watery affair then use maybe 10-15g of dry hops.

Shoud end up with something light and sessionable.

No problem. It's hard to rule out an infection, but it's unlikely if the beer doesn't taste or smell funky.

Wheat beer has the potential to be pretty watery/flavourless, especially kits made using a non Belgian yeast. Wheat is pretty light in the flavour department in comparison to other grains in my opionion.

I once made a cooper's wheat beer kit, in my brewing infancy, and it was the most flavourless beer I've ever had.
