The pub. Don't you just like a pub. Shame they have been closing.

My local pub closed about a year ago. Was a real shame but the landlord sold out to some money making developers who have wrecked the area.

A new micro pub has opened up down the road but I've yet to go in there, it will good if all the old regulars pop in as I miss some of my old drinking buddies.

I think the smoking ban has had a bigger impact than they are willing to admit, but being a vaper that's allowed. Our local has just been revamped and looks great now. So not all are closing.
