I have made several red California connessiour kits Nebiolo, Shiraz, merlot, cabernet sav, all 4 week kits and two Better Brew Shiraz merlot 7 day kits. They have all been good but the 4 week kits are better. No added sugar kits seem better than the added sugar kits I've done.

I did a CC Malbec recently. It was undrinkable coming out of the secondary but after 6 or so weeks it is much more drinkable and getting close to something you could rely on. It was a 7.5L kit (to make 23L). If you went for say a 16L kit (eg Kenridge ) the results would probably be twice as good. Have a 16L white kit (to make 23L) on the go but be ages before I can judge it.
