With our main Tv taken up with programmes I'd rather not watch, thought it all ended with strictly and Xfactor, but now we have dancing on ice and some model show

I've taken up watching things I like to watch on the PC/Ipod. Firstly I got into House, then Lost and am coming to the end of Rescue me.
Plan to start watching 24, then I'm starting to scratch my head.

What's good to watch?

Sopranos, dexter, sons of anarchy, generation kill, breaking bad, oz, boarwalk empire. The first 3 seasons of prison break. They will keep you going :-)

Good stuff :thumb:

Watched a few trailers for The Wire and Fringe, so that should while away a few nights

"Heroes" was awesome, especially seasons 1 and 2.

I really liked "Eastbound and Down" as well. Funny as hell.

Not heard of "Eastbound and Down". Never tried Heroes either will give them a whirl :thumb:

BBC 4 for a bit of culture   , not that I am suggesting you don't have any

Culture has that somfin to do with yeast ;)

I've not seen any of Shameless either and they rave about it in work, SEESAW has some old and new stuff

these are the last shows I have been watching lately that i can recommend.

shameless is really funny I highly recommend and there are so many episodes now it will take ages to get through.
weeds is a good one me and the misses enjoyed very much
trailer park boys is in my opinion the funniest television program ever but its known to take a few episodes before you realize its the greatest thing since toast.
peep show :thumb:

If you missed 'Teachers' the first time around, it's well worth getting all series on dvd.

Virtually nothing I'm afraid, TV really has gone down the pan in recent years. Anything I do watch is recorded on Sky+ as I get angry watching ads. The only thing I watch 'live' is the footie... and last night's match made me angrier than any amount of ads!

I didn't get in to House until season 5, so went out and bought the previous seasons on DVD. £4.99 in Asda,

TV series on DVD is a real revelation for me, watch them any time, sometimes in the shed when brewing, plus the bonus of no adverts.

Sky has to be the worst for ad breaks, think they're heading the same way as US TV, four breaks every half hour

The fall and rise of Reginald Perrin. Original with leonard rossiter the finest tv ever produced in my opinion. And The Likely Lads.

Shameless gets my vote. Funny but at the same time, often gritty and philosophic. If you don't mind the sex, drugs, violence and language that is, (I wouldn't recommend it to my parents).

Yes! I'm glad someone said that. My girlfriend hates it - she thinks it's ridiculous and "sends the wrong message, obeisety, blah blah". Me, I love my food, and some of the food that guy gets to try just looks amazing. I think if I lived in America i'd be about 45 stone!
