Recipe Page....The ID field

Have always wondered what this field is for. Not important just inquisitive, tried entering Style and IBU without results, so sorting doesn't seem to be what it's for.

Does anyone know, can you help an inquisitive brewer out :)

But, I would go on to say that my reasoning for showing the ID at all rather than simply ignoring it is what people can then easily link to their recipe. For example:

http://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/recipeview.php?recipe_id=14

Notice the bit after the ? where it says recipe_id=14 :thumb:
