Hi all,

I have recently set about my first brew and using a brewbuddy lager Kit (no airlock on FV) set it off the Saturday before last (13 days ago).

It has stayed a bit on the cool side at around 18/20 degrees for the most time, so I expected it to take a bit longer to complete primary fermentation but am a bit unsure whether to bottle now or wait a bit longer.

I have just tested again and it has remained stable for the last 3 days at 1.003 which is within the range suggested. However each day the FV has enough build up of pressure in it to ballon the lid up firmly.

I would appreciate if someone could suggest whether this indicates too much activity still going on and I should wait a few more days or should I be ok to bottle tomorrow???

Thanks in advance for any answers!!

It's done, get it bottled :thumb:

Final gravity is highly unlikely to drop any further, bucket lid could just be rising and falling with day/night expansion/contraction of the headspace.

Welcome to the forum

Great, thanks for the advice. Me and my little helper (Daughter) will crack on with the job tomorrow morning!
