I just wanted to bring this station to your attention, have been listening to it everyday now, for 3 weeks, and loving it, you can even request your fav songs from the website, and there is also a shoutbox, check it out!!!

If your keen on the station, perhaps you could register on the site, all that is needed is a email address and a username for the site, and if your on facebook, you could look at liking it!
Loving the music on it!

I used to work in a clean lab in Spondon (nr Derby). Basically once you go through 3 layers of increasing cleanliness I would go into a room and work by myself in a laminar flow cabinet for 4 hours solid. As it was a clean room there is no radios or switches allowed so we listened to whatever was on the “tannoy” sp?

RAM FM was the station of choice for 1 person on the outside but I (as a youngster) wanted radio 1. From then on i have engrained a dislike for Ram for no reason but i can’t get out of it, having said that, I also hate Radio 1 as I have grown up.

@ cutnrun, its nothing to do with Ramfm in the UK, its internet based, only 80's played, and based in the Netherlands!!!!

Try the link did you not?

My aversion to Ram FM uk kept me away from it... will set up the plugin tonight and give it a go!

Just got this running properly on my tablet. Was a bit of a nightmare to get it working with the screen off as no apps would play the streams, had to hack flash onto it to get it working on the browser but that wasn't ideal.

Anyway, after a lot of trial and error I got it running perfectly.

Xiialive is the app you want, works perfectly and even pops up the song changes etc. Got it happily playing away in the background now.

That's for android, not sure about the ipad.

yes mick,it says Ram Fm, but its a dutch station, and as you know, no adverts or news or chat, last night we had the singing DJ on, we were chatting to him in the Shoutbox!
Same as you as well, got it on everyday now!

Drop them an email and let them know, or if you're on the shout box and Paul (DJ) is on, ask him - I was on there on Friday evening, asked about the Def Leppard track 'Animal' - I sent one of the regular users the fMP3 voa Dropbox, he then uploaded to the station as he has an account to do that, once the DJ had reviewed it for quality it was up and playing, all within an hour :drink:
