Hi guys, I had a go at the raisin wine recipe in the recipe section of the forum, I'm wondering if I mucked it up by not putting in either enough raisins in or any sugar, I miss read the quantity of raisins as 3.5lbs not kg and I haven't put in any sugar, I added the yeast on Wednesday and all the pulp sits on top which I think is normal, but its not fermenting like mad and I'm not sure what to do now, do I add some sugar or sugar and yeast or just leave it?

Regards
Tom

Well...
CJJB has 2 raisin wine recipes in First Steps In Winemaking
1 has 3.5kg and no sugar, the other has 1kg and 1kg sugar.
So you're kind of in the middle for the raisins.
So wild guess, go in the middle for sugar - chuck in 1/2 a kilo
It'll be fine
It (nearly) always is
