When i rack my DJ's i often manage to stir up a little sediment however careful i am so decided to make something to stop the end of the cane moving, i came up with the following.

Drill a bung so the cane can slide through it quite easily then drilled two smaller holes either side of the main one to allow air back into the DJ, now take the trap off the bottom of the cane and slide it through the hole then put the trap back on, slide the cane to the bottom of the DJ and then push the bung firmly into the neck, it will now not move however ham fisted you are. :thumb:
