when i have been making fruit ginger beers, all the remaining ginger and fruit pulp/rind that is left in the bottom of the fermenting bin is this compostable ??

yes it should be fine. We compost everthing from brewing beer the grain goes to a freinds chickens and the hops go on our hop plants for compost :thumb:

Yeah as mark said it'll be fine, pretty much anything apart from meat can go on the compost heap. Most of our scraps go to our chickens and dogs though so never much left for the heap but luckily we get a nice load of muck from a local farm each year to go on our veggie patch :)

thanks guys, i was just wondering as it had fermented as such and what with the remaining alcohol in it ! suppose it would just brake down anyways, will put it around my fruit bushes in spring for next years crop,
