hi brewers

seriously thinking of going over to the dark side I want to start with biab
my question is if I get a 33 ltr pot will this be big enough to produce 23 ltrs
of the golden delight we all desire

I think this is a bit small. I've never done biab, but my understanding is that the grain and full volume of water go in the pot - and that's not going to fit, you'll need the next size up.

Equally, if you are just buying ingredients rather than a weighed out kit you can just scale back the recipie a bit to match your equipment (essentially brew a smaler batch of beer) most of the brewing software seems to have this function which is really handy and what I am planning on doing when I do my first BIAB brew :)

I use BrewMate (http://www.brewmate.net/) its free and very easy to use :)
