I have a Cascad growing in my garden and just as the vine was around 7 feet the tip of the hop broke. Subsequently the rest of the plant has gone off in every direction- sprouted arms from beneath the leafs.I have one more vine coming off the rhizome(out of the earth) and my aim is to maximise hop-yield. But I don't know what to do. The vine that has lost its head has suddenly sprung shots in every direction.... will it wield hops or should I cut them off and lett the other proper vine grown upwards?

Any help appreciated!

Yes, a very common technique for filling out a 'leggy' shrub. Pinch the other one out too, and then some
Of the side shoots to gets loads of growth going. It's what I do with mine. I also feed a liquid seaweed feed to help things along.
