On night shift this week, and tonight (Thurs) my daughter who has a rear bedroom saw a prowler in my garden with a low flashlight scanning around so she and the missus phoned the police who duly came around to have a look but nobody there.
I've not got home yet and as I'm aware my shed is untouched thank the lord..
I have 6ft fencing on 3 sides with 5ft down one side so he must have climbed over to have a closer look, my shed has got a ****** little alarm on that I'm now going to upgrade ASAP and better security lights around the garden... On this note can anyone recommend a good reasonably price shed alarm?

If anybody else brews from a shed and some of your equipment is in beef up the security now before it's to late, I've maybe had a lucky escape, I just hope they don't come back again...

The amount of times I've gone to bed and left the keys in the door, have I been lucky or what.

BB :( :(

BB whatever you do get for your shed the best advice I would give anyone is get one that makes a lot of noise and activates immediatly, no delay :!: The buggers may get in but they don't hang about if theres a lot of noise :thumb:

... and don't forget to turn it ON :? it's surprising how many folk forget to

A quick search of shed security reveals this

That would keep Me out of my shed......

And if by any chance anyone managed to get in then you could always have one of these

Good advice Baz, with the delay on mine I could boil an egg or go for a ***** then turn the key to deactivate it.. :?

Loved the sexy chick Alistair, she'd be great on guard duty. :thumb:

Lights your 1st answer BB, then noise. Rig a few passive IRD up around the garden covering the shed/fences, try to channel the light so as not to annoy your neighbours
The door bolt greys shown advertises there's something valuable inside, don't bother. The yanks do something similar, it's anti kick and mounts on the inside...can't remember what it's called.
If your door/windows are well protected think about the roof...it's where they'll try next...heras fence panels are a good fix and cheap too
