So I brewed an APA on Monday, checked to see how it was getting on this morning and my sample had a very strong orangey, almost marmalade type smell to it.
I've never had this before, could this be a problem with the yeast (underpitched?). It seems to be fermenting ok and has come down a couple points over the last few days.
This is the first time I have used my own tap water to brew with, could it be that?
Just wondering if it's worth putting another packet of yeast in there
