Do I need to prime my bottles for my stout I was gonna prime some with treacle and just leave some but only because I didn't think stouts should be carbonated or am I wrong here

I'm planning a stout at some point and will be carbonating, will likely use demerara sugar i think or maybe dark spray malt? Although using treacle sounds interesting...tts really up to you and what you like, its your beer, make it the way you want it :)

I fancied maybe ten bottles with treacle ten with dermarera and ten left with nothing to see which turned out best but was unsure if leaving out carbonation would effect the beer in a negative way at all

Nah I think it will still be nice uncarbonated I just prefer carbonated beer...will be interesting to see how it turns out though :)
