Hi Guy's just looking for some info if possible on the differences in priming with sugar vs DME.

Also what amount would be required when using 330ml and 500ml bottles.

Yes, white sugar is perfect for the job. All you are trying to do it condition the beer and white sugar will completey ferment out. DME will also condition but its more expensive and includes some unfermentables.

If you are priming the bottles individually then a level tsp per 500ml bottle is perfect for ales, perhaps a little more for a lager or wheat beer.

That's cool guys cheers.

The last time i used the coopers drops for 500ml bottles and come out great, but going to be use some glass 330ml bud bottles.

So if i was looking to prime 330ml bottle then about 3/4 of tsp would be enough or slightly too much.
