Hi All,

Yesterday I kicked off a Muntons Gold Imperial Stout which I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into in a few months.

I have a question as to priming with spray malt, what style of malt with you recommend to use when priming?

As this is a two tin set I have not added anything myself.

Cheers
Ed

To be honest, it would be a waste of spraymalt. You use so little of it when priming that it wouldn't affect the taste anyway, especially in a stout.

So you would say just go with normal sugar?
