Hello might already have been asked but iv been a naughty boy and had a sip of my Mexican lager that i primed 4 days ago in a 2 litre bottle with 4 teaspoons of sugar, first impressions was it was gassy but It wa sweet, is this because I opened it to early and didn't give it enough time for the sugar to turn to gas?
 
Most likely that is your problem. Just leave it in the warm for another week to ten days and give it a chance to condition.
