Dry jan, not enough bottles so bought keg. 30 litres so will bottle the excess over keg. I normally prime the whole batch in a bottling bucket before I rack to it.

Is the only option now to prime bottles individually? I read that I can prime the keg, should I? Different amounts for bottle/keg I read.

Any advice?

Just finished. I primed the bottles and not the keg. Used my bottling bucket with a cane sugar solution before syphoning. Will force carbonate the keg and see if there is much difference.

First time using co2. It’s a neipa any suggestions for what pressure I should use?

Bit late now I know. Just looking through old threads that I’ve missed.
I don’t have a (corny) keg but I use a plastic pressure barrel. I always prime the whole batch from the FV to the PB, then syphon off 6 bottles from the PB. Everything is primed the same, less faff, and I can’t tell the difference between the two. I guess it might be different for highly carbonated beers, don’t know. However, you could force carbonate in your keg just with CO2 and prime your bottles individually, the choice is yours.

Thanks. Wrong forum I realised afterwards. Opened the keg today. Hoppy but a big green. Bottles should be ready in a couple of weeks and I must try not to finish the kegged stuff so I can try the difference between primed and force carbed.
