I have my APA in primary for 6 days, still got a nice thick head on it but seems to have hit FG 1012 ish, with US05. Not used this yeast before was expecting it to have dropped thru the beer by now. Unsure whether I should just crash cool now, as it's in a fermenting fridge, or wait, it's still at 20'.??

you need to leave it a minimum of 10 days before lowering the temp , it will give the yeast time to clean up any off tastes .
