Primary fermentation

Hi all
My first brew is still fermenting after 7 days although the instructions say it should finish in 4-6, the temp. has been a constant 18.5 degrees maintained by an internal heater. I havn't checked the SG (target of constant reading below 1014) as I don't want to disturb the brew unnesessarily.
Should I check the SG or just leave it alone until it stops fermenting?

Just leave it til it's stops :thumb: I usually leave mine for 2 weeks or so to let more yeast drop out of suspension.

I agree just leave it until it stops fermenting. I usually leave mine to ferment out for 10 days - 14 days.
