if you ever do higest price first you will find loads of these adverts, stuff that is £30 elsewhere is a grand here.
the thing is though it costs a quid to insert and if there is one idiot and theres ALWAYS AND IDIOT will come along and think whoopie thats what i want
we deal with them all the time on construction sites, £400 FOR ONE BEDROOM BATHROOM SINK was described as cheap and tacky, the one he did by was three times that price and three times less quality and he was greatfull to get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It can't be a mistake - it's not as if he added a 0 by mistake, that would make it £100. Must be one of those cons like those that try to sell 'unwrapped presents'.

Ebay sellers like this are looking for the "durp durp" buyers who will be suckered into buying something that it's not. I see it all the time with the retro gaming scene where someone will advertise a game with "L@@K Uber Extra Rares game!!!" when really it's screaming "hey you dumb sods look at this game that I am about to bend you over a barrel with because your too silly to do a proper search.".

I've seen this several times with products that have sold plenty and then the price goes to something daft, so it must be a "fiddle" to save listing fees or something like that.
If you look at the ones that sold they all did at £21.99, it also shows that there are 999 available. My guess is that they are out of stock so he's upped the price to something that won't sell rather than ending the listing; when they are back in stock that price will come back down to a sensible figure. In the meantime if anyone is stupid enough to buy one he can pop to B&Q and still make a tidy profit :grin:
