good morning all

i wondered if i could pick the collective brain?

i bought two reconditioned flojet 12v 7a ( I'm assuming Amp here) pumps off e-bay.

with great excitement last weekend i connected the correct fittings and then wired the pump up to the tattoo controller i currently use with solar pumps (1 amp) only for nothing at all to happen.

I'm assuming I need to supply 12v 7 amp but it seems a difficult spec to buy for, theres lots of 12v 6 amp etc out there .

I'd welcome advice and suggestions here.

happy brewing

Hi,
power supplies are usually only about 80% efficient.
I would probably consider a power supply of at least 10A per pump.
If you use a 10A power supply, you will only be able to run one pump at a time.
Either two 10A power supplies or one around 20A ;)

Barry.
