Hi all,

I have a quick question that I hope someone may be able to help with.

I brewed a kit of Geordie Mild on 27th June. Everything was sterilised etc. It started bubbling but stopped on 2nd July. I left it to see if it would start again and it did for one day on 3rd July. Took a reading yesterday and today and it is steady at 1.010 - which is great but it looks really really cloudy. Temperature has been steady with a small drop during the night but nothing below 18.

This is my first attempt at brewing a mild - I usually brew bitter. Is mild usually cloudier than bitter when it comes to bottling?

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

its normal, to get a real clear beer transfer to a keg and add finings it willl drop clear in 48hrs, then you can bottle as normal
