I have just brewed a Blackberry Porter which is very nice, I did it with not too many blackberries so that the fruit flavour complimented the beer rather than make it fruity and it has worked well. After having one last night I now want to make another to keg for Crimbo with a different take on flavour. My criteria is that I prefer a porter style to a stout as I am not a big fan of the highly roasted beers hence the blackberries to add that little bit of flavour adjustment and compliment the darker malts.Any suggestions chaps and chapesses
Ps love the darker fuller beers at this time of the year makes a change from the IPA,s as the dark nights approach
