Hi Guys a thought occurred as i was bottling for the first time last night;
I realize the additional priming sugar reacts with left over yeast which does its thing and creates c02 which under pressure in capped bottles (or whatever) infuses with the beer to cause carbonation. If that reaction takes place surely the production of alcohol takes place also? :wha:
Does anyone account for this in the abv calculations? or it it so small that its not worth bothering with?
Was just wondering
