Hi all, looking for some advice, I have just racked 2 gallon of plum wine made from fresh plums, as you all know you always loose some wine when you are racking from demijohn to demijohn.
I have been left with demijohn's 60 mm from the top i would like to top them up before I store them to mature they say about 6 to 9 months time, can I just top the wine up with cool boiled water and if I do this will if have an effect on the finished wine having said that i think the wine is going to quite strong anyway.
Any advice welcome.
