Can you please recommend a good starter wine kit that I can show my wife? I thought I was boring her with all my talk of beer brewing but actually she want's to get in on the act! She is interested in a white wine, not a huge yield, 6 bottles or so. I have been buying most of my kits and ingredients from Wilko but I see some interesting looking kits at Balliihoo as well. Any advice would be appreciated, I know how rare it is to have a wife who is interested in this hobby so I would love to help her get a decent kit that's not too expensive (around the £50 mark).

Cheers,

G.

I am new to this and have just completed a Range make at home 30 bottle wine kit and nearly finished a beaverdale merlot, both surprisingly to me very good and easy to make i recommend both are great for first timers!

I just bottled a Wilko 6 Bottle wine kit it seems ok but will try it after a couple weeks. Might be a good idea togo to your local homebrew shop (LHBS) and see what they got and say

Thanks for the advice everyone, I'll check out everything you all suggested :)
