I have just been in a conversation with a customer of mine, I asked what he was getting upto this weekend.

His response was that he was getting bladdered.

I said are you going to purchase some of yorkshire's finest ales, to which he responded that he would be quaffing..................

J*hn *****

I asked him again my lip jittering as I said the unmentionable. He said it didn't bother him after 9 pints.......

He is a heathen and a Yorkshireman and probably beyond redemption but I ask of you fellow brethren to pray to the beer gods tonight in the usual up tipped glass manner :drink: :drink: for mercy and for him to be guided by a greater light, and perhaps he may stumble upon a pint of Black Sheep, or Theakstons or at least a pint of Sam Smiths.

There are many misguided souls out there in the world but if we can convert one then the world will be a better place.

Thanks in advance my fellow brewers.

:drink: :drink:

plus 9 pints of J....( that stuff ) ?

He is beyond redemption and saving....let him suffer the torment of the morning after.

My prays are reserved for those that drink proper craft ales and beers..... may they drink and brew more....

I'm with PD - but I'll drink some extra good stuff to try and balance it all out a bit :thumb:

I too shall quaff some Suddabys Double Chance from the very birth place of the fine brew tonight and some other excellent real ales in the tiny village of Malton. I will prey for the poor soul. No doubt I shall stumble across some further unbelievers on my travels. Pray hard gents

 :drink:

I'll pray

Even a northern oik like me doesn't drink that crap............

BB

I've got nothing which is really ready to drink, but some cans of carlsberg, strongbow and the dreaded green cans starting with john, all left over from a BBQ a few weeks ago.....

Oh yeah, they drank my beers and wine and kindly left me what they brought .

I'm praying to find a bottle of something I have hidden before i'm give in.

That is a bit harsh PD. Where is your compassion for fellow yorkshireman. If he was drinking craft beers then he would not need our prayers and the beer goods would not need appeasing. I would normally have suggested the sacrifice of four score and 9 virgins from the place of his birth but as you know there are none to be had in that part of the county.

Please be less judgemental and help appease the beer gods that is all i ask.

Made my day!

we had one once.....................
was a visitor from Manchester..........

didn't stay long

I have to add....last weekend we removed the last 2 cans of...JS from the brewery ( left over party again )

We gave them a good shaking up and used them as target practise with the air rifle.....wonderful sight it was.....

May the gods of beer have mercy on his soul...although I think not...he's screwed!!!

Ah well, better get supping anyway just to be sure

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you. Especially if you drink ***** beer.

Not my words, the bible.

That's because anyone who can get past a second pint of JS must have the tastebuds of my aunt's two-year-old black lab, whose penchant for feline vomit is both stomach-churning and, since my aunt's cat is a periodic provider of such delicacies, occasionally convenient
