Just got my beer brewing equipment out of the loft.....last used in 1993 !!!!!
Looks like things have moved on a bit in the home brew world since then.......
Two dead easy questions......
1)
Thought I would bottle in 1 litre plasic bottles presume these would be OK ??
2)
Roughly how long could I keep the brew in the plastic bottles ??

Thanks in advance

Plastic bottles are fine. As to how long, I'm not 100% sure, but would go with about 3 months. A point to note about using bottles this size is that you'll need to decant the beer to a jug before pouring the glasses (unless you have 1 litre glasses). This is because bottle conditioned beer produces a light sediment, and should be poured in one smooth movement to prevent cloudy beer.

Thats about what I was thinking....
Hopefully my beer will be so good it won't last 3 months. Just don't want to create a stonking good brew to have it tainted.
Fair comment about the sediment. Was thinking 2 nice glasses out of a 1 litre plastic bottle so should be able keep the sediment in the bottom ( or give the 2nd glass to SWMBO !!! )
Cheers
