Pineapple, red grape , strawberry and kiwi !

So...the pineapple kiwi grape and strawberry...

Just read the DJ on this one:

Start : 1.100
Current : 0.990

That makes it ~14% abv !?

Tasted it, and the pineapple taste powers through.

Think I'd better stop this one tomorrow and back sweeten a little as taste is dry !!

1L Asda Pineapple
1L Asda Red grape , strawberry and kiwi juice
1 mug of tea
Tsp pec
Tsp citric acid
Tsp yeast
800g sugar
Topped up with water

Will reserve judgement on the final taste .

The other DJ I started Chippys simple rose is sitting at 0.994. Think I'll stop that as well. Nice taste !

Bottled this one today :

Lessons -

- Don't use pineapple again. So much muck on the bottom meaning waste and faff.

- colour somewhere between a rose and a white. Not very appealing !

- Very dry (added more Apple)

- Final taste was interesting and pineapple comes through but not for a wine me thinks. I'll drink it obviously ! [emoji12]

Overall - too much effort for little reward [emoji34]

I agree, I ditched a pineapple WOW just tasted wrong :sick: but that's the beauty of WOW's, you can afford to experiment and if things don't go to plan, it doesn't hurt the wallet.
