As I said on another thread yesterday no too fussed about final ABV as long as its over 4.5 I don't get stressed over it body and taste is king for me any less than 4% and im outdepends on the carb(sugar) %age and it if would take the brew outside the abv range you like?

The reason I asked is because i've done a few wheat beer with fruit syrup and ended up with 8% brews!
Clearly adding after main fermentation as you suggest 'dry hop' is best but I like to accurately work out my abv. I've not had as much fruitness as i'd have liked as using fruit juice to prime the beer or as part of initial fermentation only gives a hint of flavour/aroma. but I have have enjoyed other craft breweries mango beers.
I doubt if you will get much taste out of them. If you do then you are going to need quite a lot. Tescos sell Mango Pulp @ �ã1.00 for a 800g tin (you will probably need 2 per 23li brew) and your brew will definatley finish cloudy
