Thanks UP and Aleman It works :party:unclepumble said:It will work with 15mm but very poorly better to buy 4mm brass off ebay with compression fittings off ebay too, especially if your doing 5-10gallon batches
The reccomended list
4mm compression fittings
4mm od brass tubing
1/8Th to 4mm compression fitting
1/8 female to 1/4 male
1/4 female to 15mm compression
Fill the ends of the 4mm brass tube with solder, drill with a 1mm drill.
UP
1/4 "BSPT x 4mm BRASS COMPRESSION
size:15mm x 1/4 Quantity:1 Price:£2.29 ...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/120667460833
I hit end of 4mm tube with hammer which closed end and also as a bonus allowed me to turn tube in compression fitting to correct angle.
I put brass rods in an old bit of wood decking to hold in place with masking tape when drilling.
Get some spare brass tubes and don't drill too many holes to start off with.
