These 3 arrived today, my first venture into partial mash, looking to get started on Saturday hopefully with the Timothy Taylor Landlords kit.
Any tips or advice more than welcome!

I'd run through what you intend to do on the brew day. Make sure you have everything to hand. Double check. Run it past the forum. It's too easy to get too excited and miss something.
Start saving for shiny stuff...
 
Might have to treat myself to a couple in the new year; the Newcastle Brown, Brut IPA and Hobgoblin gold kits look interesting.
 
First off, despite the description I don't think they are partial mash as there seems to be no mashing stage: the base malt is provided in the form of liquid malt extract. Adjunct grains are added to this by steeping (similar to mashing but not the same - temp control isn't as vital and you only need to do it for 30mins).

Having said that, these do look good and appear similar to extract recipe packs on offer from BrewUK and Worcester Hop Shop. In fact, many of the beers are the same, so suspect they all use the Graham Wheeler recipes which are well-respected.
