Hi guys, this is just a brief summery atm when i recover from today-all 6.5 hrs will upload some piccys etc

decided for something different and to use up all my bits and pieces (gonna need to hit the maltmiller again :) ) to do a partigyle recipe, ie bung lots in the tun, collect the first wee bit for a high abv beer and a second lot for a low abv.

bottom line, should work got 10pts below target on belgian (and less volume-2.5l) but 10 pts above on porter (with 6l extra volume!)

highs: roasted my own amber malt and got 84% vs previous 72% efficiency!

lows: didnt clean boiler for stout so it crapped out half way and praying to the brew gods that all will be well

Sounds good. I look forward to the pics.

How did you go about roasting your amber malt?
