Logged on tonight and see a few of you doing first brews are using proper ingredients.... :thumb:
Makes me feel a little overwhelmed !
Have only done 2 brews so far, third one still bubbling away, all from a can, felt fairly proud of myself as they all seem to have panned out ok.
Don't have the confidence, equipment or the space for real ingredients brewing as yet but will hopefully get there one day.
Fancy doing another Wheat Beer kit(love the Belgian style beers),used the Coopers one last time and tasted fine although final abv was very low and no fiz.
Could someone recommend another Wheat/Belgian kit worthy of a try ?

Yours in admiration..... Ash.

Just remember, brewing is all about finding what works for you - dont compare to other people, as long as youre making good beer with the kit youve got, youre happy :-)

If you want to try an easy to do wheat beer (i love wheat and wit beers) i would try using some dried wheat malt (buy online ) 2kg and dried light malt extract 1kg and and some safbrew wb-06 dried yeast ferment at around 18c
you will see a massive difference and def then best wheat you will have done so far
get the biggest pot you got half fill with water heat a little add dme and stir raising temp to boiling then transfer to fv fill up with cold water to a total of 23l if you want to add hops you would be best with hallertauer hersbrucker if you wanted to boil for bitterness and hallertauer mittlefruh for aroma or just use mittlefruh if dry hopping (to dry hop use a sterilized muslin bag and add to FV after around 4 to 5 days after start and leave in till end (at least a week) you will not be sorry and you will prob never do a kit again :thumb:
