overnight mashes - any cons?

I've been thinking of mashing overnight. Some people on this forum seem to do it and I'm curious... My new thermobox might be up to the task. Are there any possible dark sides to doing the mash this way (apart from having been pulled into the murky waters of AG in the first place, that is)? Tannin extraction? Poorer results? Wrath of God?
