Overnight mash query

When you do an overnight mash do you sparge at the 'normal' temperatures?

I did one Friday morning and the mash had dropped to 52c so I raised my sparge temp to about 88c but got nowhere near a grain bed temp of the recomended 76c. Have a look at alemans response to jonnymorris thread about mashing out. By the sounds of it it may not be so critical. :thumb:

That seems to answer the question when reading between the lines. I had read that post but had not realised it applied to all mashes including an overnight.
