I am about to start a clone of Orkney Dark Island (Clitbit's recipe) and I have a bunch of CML US pale ale and Real Ale yeast. Was wondering which is best to use, thanks for any help.

Uhm, I wouldn't say that either of those yeasts are going to give you dried fruits, and figs. You may want to broaden your options a bit.
