It was an error, did not wash bottle out as I should have done, and I bottled bitter beer in a bottle that had contained orange juice. The result was really nice, so tried putting orange juice in the brew, but didn't work. But why?

Could it be additives in the orange juice during fermentation ???

I bottled my lager last night and used 5 raspberry and blackcurrant bottles and 5 strawberry. All water from Morrison's.
I thought about not washing/sanitising to see if it left a hint of flavour, but i forgot and went ahead and sanitised them with the rest 🙄

You're better off just using an orange flavoured hop such as Prima Donna or First Gold. Gives your beer a marmalade kind of flavour which is actually really nice. Other possibility is to fortify your brew by adding Tescos orange blossom honey - gives a nice orangey zing to your beer.
