I want to order a few bottles of commercial beer to help me discover different recipes, for instance to compare some Bavarian weissbier. I was looking at www.slurp.co.uk, has anyone used them or a similar company

just a side note , i would order some paulaner, weihenstephan(my fav) ,Erdinger , Frankiskaner to start you off :D

Just check my avatar. It's a lovely Pilsener with quite a bitterish flavour and it comes in a flip top bottle.

I (and I believe a few other people on here) have used Beers Of Europe. Delivery is £7.49 per order, but if you can get up there it's well worth a visit, although you may end up spending a lot more than you wanted.

thanks, that is a great website for choice and cost I'll be getting some Weihenstephan, Frankiskaner, Sneider and Kaltenberg to start with.

I saw erdinger at £1.68 per 500ml bottle at ASDA, that price will be tough to beat. I was at the Bavarian Beerhouse in Tower hill drinking the draft Erdinger last week, which was absolutely lovely (food not so good).
