Well since I started homebrewing all those months ago in July! I've learned all sorts off this great forum actually, but I think I've made enough kits now to at least have made some of the classic errors and understand where I went wrong and how to put them right or avoid next time.
The single most important lesson though (as a complete newbie) is that patience is the key. Let it brew, let it rest, and then let it mature and it's amazing what we can produce with a beer kit and some water.
There hasn't been a week since summer where something hasn't been fermenting in some corner of our house somewhere! I've think I've made enough now to realise that time in the bottle really does work wonders finishing the flavours, the clarity and the carbonation to produce a great bevy. Of course you guys who've been brewing for ages have been telling us this all along!
Anyone new(er than me,) Get it brewed and get your next one on straight away so there's some left to mature a bit longer and reach it's true potential:thumb:

Exactly! I started in June and some reserved bottles are hard to resist...demand definitely outstrips supply.
Another good tip would be try a brew...if you like it buy another 2 fv's. ...which I did!

Cheers

I still can't get it right and am always running out of beer. So my next brew but one is going to be a 50L partial mash. See how long that lasts me

Glad Im not the only one MQ. I never seem to have enough and find myself brewing every week now, and especially finding recipes to use up all the odds and ends one accrues.

I havent got the space/FV's to brew every week. So I bought a 60L barrel a couple of months back to start to make large brew lengths to last me and I'll make 5L brews for a bit of variation/experimentation
