I’ve cleaned an sanitised fb an rest of my equipment ready to start my next brew a Wilko thirsty devil red ale as anybody tried this one
Cheers

Hi!
2 weeks to carbonate, another 2 weeks to condition and mature, and keep yer sticky paws off it!
No, there's nothing stopping you trying a cheeky bottle after the 2 weeks, just to check, of course :D

I made the Thirsty Devil a little while back, but added about 100g medium crystal, 10g Fuggles pellets along with the Cascade supplied, and bunged in a pack of Gervin yeast on top of that provided. I was in there after a week and it was SHOCKING but it abruptly 'turned the corner' after one more week and is now a cracking drop... brilliantly clear, great head and lacing and tastes wonderful. Bit shocked how good it is actually, after donkey's years of AG.

Am a novice gunge
So no real idea what crystal or giggles pellets are! But I do have some Gervin yeast so add that in addition to the kit yeast

if the kit yeast is 6 grams adding a 10 or 11g pack will reduce the chance of it 'sticking' - (not finishing the job off). If you sprinkle your yeast onto the wort (unfermented beer) that also reduces the amount available to make beer compared with re-hydrating your yeast first. As you're starting off i'd say it's simpler to add more yeast and sprinkle onto the wort.
