so the guys with the straight glasses knowing this was the only drink they were going to get took longer .

It was half a pint how curved were the glasses for 4 mins difference?
 
these university folks have got to study something....... saves getting a proper job. :D

I don't suppose its going to be one of the great world shattering studies. My extensive research came up with this conclusion.........

The length of time taken to drink a pint is directly proportional to the amount of money in my pocket.
Got plenty of money drink quicker................." short o brass " and it takes much longer..
 
just tried necking a pint out of a straight glass, then another out of a tulip glass, then a pint out of tankard, then a pint out of a tall lager glass, another out of a straight glass, one out of tulip followed swiftly by another out of the drip tray

Conclusions - none other than it was fun - didn't bother timing it. :D :drink: :drunk:
