Ok so this probably isn't worth a post all of it's own but I didn't know what else to do with the thought. It was getting lonely on it's own.

Friend gave me a box of winemaking bits that belonged to his father-in-law and had been in his attic for some time (father-in-law died a few years back). Among the things (shrink caps, corks, wooden corker, pre-printed labels) were some books:

First steps in winemaking - CJJ Berry (I have 4 copies of this now)
130 new winemaking recipes - as above
Winemaking with canned & dried fruit (as above - prolific or what)
Winemaking the natural way - Ian Ball
First steps in winemaking - (again - sorry, correction, I have 5 copies if anyone wants one and is prepared to collect/pay postage - please ask!)
High Kicks (Party Tricks) no idea.. more a pamphlet really
Easymade wine - Mrs Gennertaylor (no first name!)
Cheers (A Yours Guide)
Fruity Passions - Margaret Vaughan (& Mary Hardiman-Jones)

Interesting and I have most of them on the shelf anyway - but what just kicked me in the teeth was the little handwritten notes made by my friends father-in-law and inserted here and there.
Time passes eh?

Makes you wonder if anyone will want our scribbles in the future Tony... :hmm:
