Ok I recently started my first homebrew cider kit, (young's brew Buddy).
I carefully followed the instructions, and fermented my kit in the airing cupboard for about a week. all good
Now to save a few quid until next payday I borrowed a pressure barrell of my mate, it is an old one so I took it all apart cleaned it up and I was abit concerned about the seals in the screw cap, I took them down to my local brew shop and the guy behind the counter gave me some bits and pieces (yes gave no charge ) for repairs he said the seals in the lid looked fine
happy days
I syphoned the cider into the barrell, added some sugar and put her back in the airing cupboard for three days as per instructions. Then today moved her to a cool spot in my house.
The temptation was to much I had to have a little sample but there is no pressure in the barrel whilst I was moving her about I noticed bubbles comming from the tap a pressure leak.
so what do I do
will my cider be ok
