My names Ross, I've been brewing on an off for a few years, made a fair few different wine kits and a couple of batches of the famous Edwort's apfelwein.
Just recently decided to have a go at the whole alcotec thing heading up to finishing my final year of university, hoping to make an extremely clean and pure alcohol with that. The idea being to flavour it with whatever I can think of and serve to guests to keep my wine stash from being drunk in one night.
Mainly looking to get into real ales because like a lot of brewers I do love the real ale, so I look forward to learning from the oh wise ladies and gents down that end of the forum. And any experimentation I can have fun with - moving to a house with a spare room I figure it's about time I stepped up my operation.
Hopefully I can offer what little knowledge I have up at some point and I look forward to getting to know the guys on here :
