oak leaf wine

Evening all, I've seen reference to oak leaf wine on the internet, and today it was brought up in conversation. Has anyone tried it and have a recipe for it? I'm a little hesitant as I always thought oak was poisonous.

I think the key is young oak leaves - I guess old ones will be full of tannin?
