JFK in the 80s took some beating , big choice dilemma ...Bud , Bud Lite , Bud in a bottle , Bud in a can , Bud in a long neck bottle....and so on ad nauseum

It's all improved now in the US, I usually find myself a seat at the bar in the departure lounge in Orlando International and partake of a nice drop of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

doesn't everyone? Have you ever experienced the phenomenon that is brislington lights. Lol.
I flew to Glasgow i thought it was to visit family but now I'm here it seems it was just to make me freeze my nads off. Luckily there is a fire in the pub.

Now you have you own personal fire ? In your nads ? Oh , to be a jetsetter like you , Frisp !

I have fond memories of of flying out of Lulsgate on a Fokker 40 , the splendours of WSM from above , the glory that is Burnham on Sea , the bright lights of the A38....ah , happy days . And then I had to go home to Bedminster .

You a bemmie boy then.? Im out in teh peoples republic of Pensford on the A37
Im back in the toastie south now and its much much warmer so much so my superheated undercrackers have returned to their normal operating temperature..
Just had two days up home at a Scottish funeral... I think I was actually sweating 60/- this morning....

I was in BS3 for quite some time , even got a "Dean Lane Hardcore" tattoo . Did some parties out Pensford way in the early 90s....happy days ! Love the area from bristol down through somerset , had a lot of mates from Norton Radstock way so I spent a lot of time round your way , passing through often . Some great old pubs and cider farms - real cider farms , not the tourist rubbish . Plus Butcombe Brewery . All in all one of the better parts of the world . If I could still get the work up there I would gladly go back , cornwall aint all its cracked up to be ! Not to the city though , its changed too much for the worse despite some good redevelopment of bedminster , the wills tobacco factory site and so on .

I have to admit I tend to go into Bath More than Brissle for pretty much the same reasons in that its not the place it used to be. 93 I moved out here so there is a fair chance we have staggered into each other... Was almost resident in teh George and Dragon back then developing a taste for Thatchers chewey stuff...

I know what you mean about the County, Im also a fan of North Devon but I have never seen the attraction of Kernow... Probably cause I hate Beaches and everything that goes with them especially sand... gets everywhere , bstrd stuff it is....

Zider from Midgley... proper hardcore apple product... that stuff cleans stainless .... lush it is... Even Hugh Fearlesslyeatitall favours it..

Im a moorland type , beaches are for fishing from as far as Im concerned ! And then only cos its sea trout close season on the river ;) The attraction ? Roots here and a farm that we could afford unlike the ones in somerdet and north devon that we tried to buy !

Thatchers ? I still have a barrel and a couple of gallon containers of theirs (deposit paid) , I have drank a whole lot of it . Remember when every corner shop had a couple of barrels of cider ,dry and sweet , and you bought a gall of mixed ? Trinity towers had the freshest thatchers usually . The shops also had polypins of various wines and sherries plus jars of spirits sold by the pint . Havnt seen that since about 2000 or so....a real shame . Were you ever in kingsdown ? The old offy there had great cider and various wines like nectarine on draft - happy days !

Oh yes ! Do you recall Dixies cider warehouse opposite the Lousiana ? God that stuff was awful !
