We still have August and September before we can normally expect cool weather; but what’s “normal” nowadays?
:hat:

The amazing thing with this spell is how far north it's getting, eg York :

The highest I've seen by throwing a few random places at the forecast is Sheffield with 42C :

Looks like central London will be worse on Monday though, I think Fuller's might need to start brewing with kveik!

Loking forward to 43 tomorrow. Always a bit warmer where we are as I was daft enough to pave our terrace with slate slabs. I think I'd still do the same in retrospect. This is the third day in 5 that we've had to have lunch and dinner indoors as it's too hot to go out.
However, I'm not going to be drawn into a false sense of security and the thermal vest and long johns will be staying on until the beginning of August!

No. I don't get it either. it says 15 days and you can only see 12!. Must be a French thing.

“Ne’er cast a clout till May is out!” but that’s Climate Change for you! I’ve already seen snow at Easter so I tend to agree with you!

Lancs made a big score day one, day 2 ruled out due to snow and Derbyshire were bowled out twice on day 3 due to uncovered pitches.
